Two Year MMPA

OPEN TO BOTH DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS, THE TWO YEAR MMPA CAN HELP STUDENTS WITH ANY 4-YEAR UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE MAKE THE JUMP INTO MANAGEMENT.

For students with a non-business undergraduate degree, this program pairs your previous studies with robust business and accounting capabilities. These students are required to complete a 3-month foundation term to ensure they have a solid introduction to the topics covered in the program.

To be eligible for the Two Year MMPA without needing to complete the 3-month Foundational Term, students must meet the Advanced Standing Requirements

Admission Requirements 

The Two Year MMPA is open to domestic  and international students with any undergraduate degree.

In order to apply to the Two Year MMPA, students must meet the following requirements:

DOMESTIC STUDENTS: 

  • A 4-year university undergraduate degree in any field
  • Minimum grade of mid-B in final year completed
  • Minimum GMAT score of 570* with an AWA score of 4.0 and a Verbal & Quantitative score of 46%
    • Outstanding students from North American universities with an exceptional cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.5 or higher may request a GMAT waiver
  • Evidence of leadership abilities.
  • Students without the Advanced Standing Requirements will require the 3 Month Foundation Term, discussed below.

*The GMAT requirement will be waived for any applicant graduation from:

  • University of Toronto Mississauga’s BCom (Accounting Specialist Program)
  • Rotman School’s BCom (Accounting Specialist Program)
  • University of Toronto Scarborough’s BBA (Specialist in Management & Accounting Program)

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:

  • A 4-year university undergraduate degree in any field
  • Minimum grade of mid-B in final year completed
  • Minimum GMAT score of 570* with an AWA score of 4.0 and a Verbal & Quantitative score of 46%
    • Outstanding students from North American universities with an exceptional cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.5 or higher may request a GMAT waiver

  • English proficiency (EP) test, if required

* International students without Canadian citizenship or Landed Immigrant Status must obtain a Study Permit and a co-op Work Permit.
 

3-month Foundation Term

Students with a non-business undergraduate degree or who did not specialize in accounting are required to complete a 3-Month Foundation Term prior to starting the Two Year MMPA. You will complete several required courses to equip you with foundational business and accounting knowledge. 

STUDENTS WITH AN ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST DEGREE FROM A CANADIAN UNIVERSITY:

The One Year MMPA program is available for students who have completed an accounting specialist degree in Canada. We welcome you to apply to the One Year MMPA.
