Embedding Sustainability in Accounting and Management Curricula
Space is limited for in-person attendance.
Teaching sustainability in business schools is essential as it prepares future leaders to tackle critical global issues like climate change, resource depletion, and social inequality. This conference provides a platform for leading academics, business faculty, and industry experts to discuss how to embed sustainability into the core curriculum of professional accounting and other business programs.
We are thrilled to have Professor Patricia Dechow, a distinguished scholar and two-time recipient of the Distinguished Contributions to Accounting Literature Award, delivering a keynote on her motivations for writing the new textbook, Business Sustainability Reporting & Analysis. Additionally, business faculty and industry leaders will share their experiences and challenges in teaching sustainability, fostering a rich exchange of ideas and best practices.
When: November 15, 2024 | 8AM - 3:30PM
Where: Innovation Complex Rotunda, 3359 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga, ON L5L 1C6
