Master of Management & Professional Accounting (MMPA) Program Tuition & Fees
The MMPA is a publicly funded program. Tuition fee schedules are reviewed annually by the University of Toronto’s Governing Council, and decisions are generally announced in mid-April, preceding the upcoming academic year.
The fees below are approximate for 2024-2025 and are subject to change.

Incidental and Ancillary Fees | University of Toronto services (such as athletic, library and student union services) are additional costs separate from tuition fees and are set by the university each spring. Ancillary fees are approximately $2K. |
Medical Fees | International students are provided medical coverage through the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP). Annual UHIP coverage begins in September of each year. For students in the Two Year MMPA participating in the 3-month foundation term, UHIP is prorated for the additional 3 months of coverage. Financing & Scholarships at MMPA
The MMPA program enables students to earn money that can be put towards their tuition fees. They can earn up to $15,000 in scholarships and up to $15,000 per paid co-op work term.
Scotiabank Loans
Students enrolled in a professional program have the option of borrowing funds from Scotiabank through the ScotiaLine for students.
Students interested in the ScotiaLine should contact Georgios Stathopoulos (georgios.stathopoulos@scotiabank.com or 416-866-3940, extension 4209) at the bank’s Queen and McCaul Branch to set up an appointment.
Note: University of Toronto students are not required to use Scotiabank as a lender. Students are welcome to pursue funding options at the financial institution of their choice.
Employment Opportunities with MMPA
MMPA students are eligible to apply for teaching assistant and research assistant positions for which they are qualified throughout the university. Interested students should monitor U of T job postings for available positions. Students should also bear in mind the significant time requirements of the MMPA program and limit their involvement in teaching and/or research assistant work accordingly.

MMPA Admission Scholarships
Scholarships of $10,000 or $5,000 are available to Canadian citizens and permanent residents applying to either the Two Year MMPA or One Year MMPA. Admission scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, and qualified applicants may be awarded up to $15,000.
Scholarship funds are dispersed once a student has registered and met all admission criteria. Scholarships are limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applicants who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents and meet the following criteria are eligible to receive an MMPA admission scholarship:
- Tier 1 - $10,000
- Requirement: A grade average or higher in the final year of study
- Tier 2 - $5,000
- Requirement: A- grade average or higher achieved in the final year of study
MMPA Entrance Scholarships
A limited number of entrance scholarships are awarded to select applicants who are deemed to have the strongest overall combination of academic standing and GMAT scores upon admission to the MMPA program. Applicants are notified of their eligibility for the scholarship upon admission to the program.
- Entrance scholarship value: $5,000
- Requirements: A- grade average or higher in the final year of a bachelor's degree with a GMAT score above 720 or have received a GMAT waiver

Bursaries
Bursaries are available to full-time University of Toronto graduate students on the basis of need.
