BIO
David Zweig is Associate Professor of Organizational Behaviour and HR Management and past Chair and Graduate Chair of the Department of Management at the University of Toronto Scarborough. He holds a cross-appointment to the Organizational Behaviour and HR Management area at Rotman. He has taught Administrative Theory (MGT1362) successfully in the MMPA Program since 2008.
David has received many research grants (2001-present) from the Social Science and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) as well as a Connaught grant (2001-2003) to study topics such as employee deviance, specifically examining knowledge hiding and knowledge theft in organizations, employee cynicism, and the impact of employee surveillance. His research has been published in top-tier management journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Personnel Psychology and has received widespread international media attention in outlets including the National Post, Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Report on Business Magazine, New York Times, London Times and Washington Post.

Teaches courses in in Organizational Behavior, Recruitment and Selection, and Leadership.
Research interests include Examines Organizational Monitoring Practices, Knowledge Hiding in Organizations, the Use of Structured Interviews in Selection, Organizational Cynicism, and Knowledge Theft.
